Anionic polyacrylamide (APAM) products are water-soluble linear polymers synthesized under high degree polymerization, easily soluble in water, almost insoluble in the benzene, the ether, the aliphatics, the acetone and other common organic solvents.

คุณสมบัติโดยทั่วไปของสารจำพวก Polyacrylamide

• ทำหน้าที่เป็นตัวที่ช่วยในการตกตะกอน (Floculant) หลังจากที่ผ่านขบวนการ Coagulation มาแล้ว โดยคุณสมบัติของ Floculant
  
• เมื่อถูกพัดพาไปสัมผัสกับตะกอนแขวนลอยทั้งหลาย จะดูดตะกอนเหล่านั้นติดผิวไว้ตามลักษณะประจุ
  
• เมื่อตะกอนเข้ามารวมตัวกับ Flocculants มากๆก็จะมีน้ำหนัก สามารถแยกตัวออกจากน้ำจมลงสู่ก้นถังแยกตะกอนได้ ซึ่ง Anionic Polymer นี้จะใช้งานในระบบการผลิตน้ำประปา , ระบบบำบัดน้ำเสีย  และส่วนใหญ่จะใช้งานร่วมกับเคมีบำบัดน้ำตัวอื่นๆ เช่น M-PAX ,Hydro Pac และสารส้ม เป็นต้น  เพื่อช่วยในการจับตะกอน และตกตะกอนได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ

Application:
As a flocculating agent, mainly used in industrial solid-liquid separation process, including settlement, clarification concentrate and sludge dewatering processes.
The main applications sectors are:urban sewage treatment, paper making, food processing,petrochemical,metallurgical,miner,dressing,dyeing,sugar making and all kings of industrial wastewater treatment.
